Kasey Boucher Pierter focuses her practice on intellectual property, advertising and unfair competition laws, and technology transactions.

In this rapidly evolving landscape, Kasey provides clients with current, practical expertise by staying up to date on the latest developments in technology and their potential legal implications in relation to social media, AI, and more.

Kasey’s work spans an array of industries, including sporting goods, footwear and apparel, cosmetics, food and beverage, automotive, technology, and software. She also works with clients of all sizes, ranging from startups and emerging companies to large organizations.

In her intellectual property practice, Kasey advises clients on all aspects of trademark matters, including clearance, prosecution, enforcement, and licensing. In addition, she helps clients protect, enforce, and license copyrights.

Kasey provides advice on complying with advertising and unfair competition laws, as well as social media platform terms of use, including in relation to sales promotions, sweepstakes and contests, advertising claims, endorsements, influencers, and consumer reviews.

Kasey also assists banks, insurance companies, and others with a wide range of technology transactions, including software license agreements and software as a service (SaaS) agreements.

Prior to pursuing a legal career, Kasey played ice hockey for Boston University and within the United States National Team Program.
