Kasey Boucher Panelist at INTA 2022 Annual Meeting: Understanding and Using New Internet Technologies

Pierce Atwood IP attorney Kasey Boucher will participate in a panel discussion on new internet technologies at the International Trademark Association (INTA) 2022 Annual Meeting.

The panel will discuss blockchain, non-fungible tokens (NFTs), the Metaverse, and Web 3.0, and explore a range of issues, including whether existing trademark laws already adequately address use of trademarks in connection with these technologies, and whether these new technologies might require new enforcement strategies for trademark owners.
