Matthew Pappas Joins Pierce Atwood's Boston Real Estate Practice

Pierce Atwood LLP is proud to announce that attorney Matthew Pappas has joined the firm as counsel in the Real Estate Practice Group.  He will reside in the firm’s Boston office working with the firm’s real estate lending group that also includes Bruce Miller, Lou Aliberti and paralegal Carol Herbert.

Matthew’s practice focuses on a variety of clients and aspects of real estate law. He has represented banks in real estate and asset-based lending transactions and foreclosures of residential and commercial properties. He has also represented owners, investors and developers in the purchase, sale and financing of commercial and residential real estate and small business owners in the formation of closely held companies. His experience also includes representing lenders in workout and bankruptcy matters, preparing and negotiating commercial leases, and creating master deed and trust documents for local condominium conversions.

Matthew earned his J.D. from Northeastern University School of Law and his B.A. from Tufts University.  He is admitted to practice in Massachusetts and before the U.S. District Court, District of Massachusetts.

Prior to joining Pierce Atwood, Matthew focused on commercial lending and real estate conveyancing as an associate at Cumsky & Levin LLP in Cambridge, Massachusetts and Goldenberg, Walters and Popkewitz in Brookline, Massachusetts.
