Sixty-seven of the firm’s partners are recognized in the 2011 edition of Woodward/White’s The Best Lawyers in America – a prominent directory of the country’s most distinguished lawyers.

Additionally, Pierce Atwood LLP is the only firm to receive number one rankings in all six practice areas evaluated in Maine by Chambers and Partners, and is the only law firm in Maine to be ranked number one in the Environment practice area.  In 2010, thirty-five attorneys at the firm were recognized for excellence in the six practice areas ranked by Chambers USA, which is an impressive number for a firm of our size.
