Trump to Nominate Richard Glick as FERC Commissioner
Last night, President Trump announced that he intends to nominate Richard Glick, the Democratic general counsel for the Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee, as a FERC Commissioner, to fill Commissioner Honorable’s now-vacant seat, in a term that expires in 2022.
Richard Glick was vice president of government affairs for Iberdrola's renewable energy, electric and gas utility, and natural gas storage businesses in the United States (now Avangrid Renewables), and previously served as a director of government affairs for PPM Energy. Before that, he was director of government affairs for PacifiCorp. From 1998 to 2001, Glick served as a policy advisor to Secretary of Energy Bill Richardson.
