USCIS Completes FY2019 H-1B Cap Selection Process

USCIS announced it has completed the FY2019 H-1B lottery selection process. USCIS received 190,098 FY2019 H-1B petitions, down from approximately 199,000 H-1B petitions received in FY2018. USCIS will reject and return all unselected petitions. USCIS will continue to accept and process petitions that are exempt from the H-1B cap, including petitions for current H-1B workers who have been counted previously against the cap, as well as petitions to amend or extend H-1B status, for concurrent H-1B employment, or to change H-1B employers.
