Please join the Pierce Atwood Employment Group for a four-part series on employment law basics for HR professionals.

This series will introduce HR professionals to the most significant federal employment laws – i.e., Title VII, the Family and Medical Leave Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, and the Fair Labor Standards Act.

We will summarize the specific legal requirements imposed on covered workplaces by each law and discuss how to comply with these complex requirements. We will also have a session devoted to the legal issues related to offer letters, various employment agreements, and the employee handbook.

Throughout the program, we will use real-world scenarios to illustrate how these legal obligations affect what you do as HR professionals.

You may attend any or all of the sessions in the series.
