Joseph H. Shagoury

Joseph Shagoury is an associate in Pierce Atwood’s Litigation Practice Group.

Prior to joining Pierce Atwood, Joseph served as a law clerk for the Honorable Joseph M. Jabar of the Maine Supreme Judicial Court.

While in law school, Joseph was an extern for Judge Kermit V. Lipez of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the First Circuit, and for Magistrate Judge John H. Rich III of the U.S. District Court for the District of Maine.

Joseph  also served as teaching fellow for both Property and Constitutional Law and was a Legal Writing teaching assistant. He also earned a certificate in Environmental and Oceans Law and received Maine Law’s Faculty Significant Achievement Award.

Before attending law school, Joseph worked for a consulting firm in Portland and for the office of Senator Angus King.
