Manuel Alejandro Sanchez-Wong
Manuel Alejandro Sanchez-Wong is an associate in Pierce Atwood’s Business Practice Group.
Before joining Pierce Atwood, Alejandro earned his law degree from the University of Havana School of Law, where he also served as a teaching assistant in Business Law. While in law school, he gained experience as a legal intern at the Havana Municipal Prosecutor’s Office and the Provincial Court, assisting judges with case analysis and case management.
Following his graduation, Alejandro worked as an attorney with La Dirección Provincial de Justicia in Havana (Havana’s Department of Justice). His first role within the department was in the Office of Legality and Supervision, where he provided legal counsel to government agencies and reviewed official documents intended for use in foreign countries, ensuring their legality and accuracy.
After being promoted within the Department of Justice, Alejandro coordinated UNICEF’s “Por un Mundo al Derecho” program and managed media relations in the capital, effectively serving as a spokesperson.
Alejandro later moved to the United States and earned his J.D. from Boston College Law School, where he spent two summers with Pierce Atwood as a summer associate before joining the firm as an attorney.
