ACC Northeast and Pierce Atwood Present Maine Program on Negotiations
Pierce Atwood is partnering with the Association of Corporate Counsel Northeast (ACC Northeast) to provide Maine CLE programming tailored for in-house counsel. Our second program of the year is Tuesday, April 30 from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm and has been pre-approved for general Maine CLE credit. Light breakfast and lunch will be provided. We hope to see you there!
Please join us on April 30th for a half-day training on negotiation and conflict resolution. Kyle Glover, a partner at Pierce Atwood LLP and an adjunct professor of law at Georgetown Law, will provide tools and tested best practices that will enable participants to sharpen their skills on negotiating and resolving conflict on behalf of their clients and business partners more effectively, and deepen their understanding of negotiation strategies, as well as techniques for improving the negotiation process and outcomes.
The training will begin with a presentation on the key strategies in preparing for and approaching negotiations, with concrete tools for each phase of the process:
- Preparation;
- Negotiating with a Counterparty; and,
- Evaluation of Negotiation Outcomes.
Attendees will participate in a tabletop exercise in order to apply the concepts provided. Following the simulation, the group will participate in a discussion on the negotiation exercise to focus on taking away the strategies and tools for everyday application.
Please visit ACC Northeast for more information and registration instructions.
