Commercial Real Estate Attorney Christopher J. Currier Joins Pierce Atwood as Partner in Boston Office
Pierce Atwood is pleased to announce that experienced commercial lending and real estate attorney Christopher J. Currier has joined Pierce Atwood’s Boston office.
Chirs has more than 25 years of experience advising lenders and borrowers in connection with commercial loan transactions, as well as workouts, foreclosures, and restructurings. He also provides counsel to businesses on a range of real estate and corporate matters including sales and acquisitions and leasing. He has represented community and national banks and other borrowers on loan transactions involving manufacturing, construction, real estate financing, and service-oriented businesses.
Chris's experience includes working out problem commercial loans of all types for numerous lenders, including preparing and negotiating forbearance agreements, foreclosure of personal property and real estate, and collection of debts, including deficiencies following foreclosure. Since 1993, Chris has been counsel for a number banks through several economic recessions.
Chris received his law degree from Syracuse University College of Law and his B.A. from University of Massachusetts, Amherst.
