Energy Attorney Eben M. Albert Joins Pierce Atwood as Partner

Pierce Atwood is pleased to announce that energy attorney Eben M. Albert has joined the firm’s Portland office.

Eben focuses his practice on complex energy regulatory proceedings and litigation before the Maine Public Utilities Commission and other administrative and regulatory bodies, as well as in state and federal courts. He has deep experience representing clients in utility ratemaking and rate design proceedings, complex utility reorganizations, requests for approvals, and a range of other regulatory matters.

Before joining Pierce Atwood, Eben was an energy and litigation partner and director of pro bono and community service at a large Portland, Maine law firm. He was named Pro Bono Attorney of the year by the Immigrant Legal Advocacy Project, recognized for pro bono service through the Katahdin Counsel Recognition Program, and included in the Best Lawyers in America® for commercial litigation. He graduated magna cum laude from Vermont Law School and received his B.A. from the College of the Atlantic.
