Jim Avery Speaker at Electric Transmission in the Northeast Seminar: “Coordinated Procurement (continued): Solicitations in Progress

Pierce Atwood energy law partner James M. Avery will discuss Massachusetts Section 83C for long-term contracts for offshore wind energy. Jim will share bidder perspectives on what went well and not so well, and suggested changes for future procurement. Joining Jim in this discussion will be William Hazelip, VP of Business Development for National Grid Ventures, and James Torgerson, CEO of AVANGRID, Inc.

Jim represents a broad range of utilities, developers, aggregators and other stakeholders before Massachusetts Department of Public Utilities, the Massachusetts Energy Facilities Siting Board, and numerous other state utility commissions.
