John Bulman Leads Team in Developing Guide on Discovery Best Practices in Construction Arbitration
Pierce Atwood litigation and construction partner John Bulman, along with members of the National Construction Dispute Resolution Committee and senior staff members of the American Arbitration Association (AAA), led a team to develop a guide on discovery best practices in construction arbitration. John and the leadership team held multiple roundtables comprised of prominent arbitrators and advocates who provided input and guidance to create this comprehensive guide, published by AAA.
Pierce Atwood partner John Bulman has more than 25 years of experience in construction and commercial trial matters. He combines his extensive trial experience with his experience as a neutral arbitrator and court-appointed referee to provide effective evaluation and presentation of cases. John has negotiated construction contracts on behalf of contractors, owners, and subcontractors on a nationwide basis, and frequently counsels clients on effective risk and claim avoidance. John is repeatedly ranked by industry publications as among the top construction and alternative dispute resolution practitioners in New England.
The American Arbitration Association is committed to the principle that construction arbitration should provide a less expensive, more expeditious and final form of dispute resolution than that offered in state or federal litigation.
