Kathleen Hamann to Participate in Program Hosted by Association of Women in International Trade

Pierce Atwood partner Kathleen Hamann, an internationally recognized authority in the field of white collar enforcement and compliance matters, will participate in a program titled, “The Fight against Corruption to Level the Playing Field for U.S. Exporters.”

Kathleen will participate in a panel discussing Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) compliance from a public and private sector perspective. While at the Department of Justice, Kathleen successfully prosecuted many high-profile criminal matters involving the FCPA, and designed and implemented the first FCPA self-monitorships and hybrid monitorships.

The Association of Women in International Trade (WIIT) works to promote the professional development of women in international trade and business and to raise public awareness of the importance of international trade to economic development.
