Katie Kohm, Chris Whitney, and Kate Hamann Participants at American Bar Association Forum on Construction Law 2023 Annual Meeting

Pierce Atwood construction and litigation partner Katharine E. Kohm, co-chair of this year’s annual meeting, will deliver opening and welcome remarks each day.

Firm commercial litigation and construction law partner Christopher Whitney will participate in a practicum titled, “Effective Cross-Examination and Delivering a Winning Closing Argument.” This program will offer views from both the bench and the practitioner.

Pierce Atwood partner Kathleen Hamann, an internationally recognized authority in the field of white collar enforcement and compliance matters, will participate in a session titled, “Guarding the Hen House: Attorney Best Practices When Client Ethics are Lacking.” This program will explore what to do if a client’s ethics are questionable and what the attorney’s obligations are in those situations.
