Katie Nokes Minervino Named Pierce Atwood Partner

Pierce Atwood LLP is pleased to announce that Katie Minervino, an attorney in its Immigration and Employment Practice Groups, has been named partner at the firm.

Katie assists employers and employees in executing immigration strategies to fulfill temporary and permanent US residence and employment authorization needs. She advises clients on current developments in the ever-evolving field of immigration law and provides support and guidance on employment verification requirements, best practices, and audit response.

Katie’s work also includes pro bono representation of clients in asylum processes and post-asylum grant applications for permanent residence. Katie received a 2013 Outstanding Service Award from the Immigrant Legal Advocacy Project in Maine for her pro bono representation of asylum seekers. She has also been honored through the Katahdin Counsel Recognition Program (2012, 2013, 2014), created by the Maine Supreme Judicial Court for her pro bono service.

In January 2015, Katie received Pierce Atwood’s first-ever Scribner Firm Impact Award for her work to keep pro bono and community service top-of-mind at the firm.
