Paula Devereaux Named to Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly 2020 "Top Women of Law" List
Pierce Atwood commercial real estate partner Paula Devereaux has been named to Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly's 2020 “Top Women of Law” list. This annual award celebrates legal educators, trailblazers, and role models who have demonstrated outstanding accomplishments in their chosen fields.
Paula, a well-respected leader in the Massachusetts real estate community, focuses her practice on development, zoning, permitting, planning, and environmental regulatory compliance. She serves as real estate counsel for a number of clients in the Greater Boston area, ranging from smaller organizations to large corporations, medical centers, retailers, and real estate firms. She regularly advises clients on Boston permitting matters, waterfront development issues, and in sales, acquisitions, and financings.
Paula is active in the real estate community, serving in leadership roles on several boards. She is the immediate past president of the Real Estate Bar Association for Massachusetts (REBA), co-chair, of NAIOP’s Environmental Committee and former vice president of public affairs, and she’s a member of The Abstract Club, an invitation-only organization limited to 100 lawyers who are considered leaders in the field of real estate law.
Since 2018, Paula has been recognized by Best Lawyers in America® for real estate law, and she a frequent lecturer in real estate and Boston zoning practices for Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education.
