Peter Guffin to Present “NAIC Insurance Data Security Model Law: What Insurers Need to Know”
Pierce Atwood Privacy & Data Security Practice Group Chair Peter Guffin has been invited to speak about the Insurance Data Security Model Law (Data Security Law) recently adopted by the National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC) at the upcoming Members Participation Council meeting of the National Organization of Life and Health Insurance Guaranty Associations (NOLHGA). In this education session, Peter will provide an overview of the Data Security Law, highlighting the similarities and differences with the New York Cybersecurity Regulations that went into effect last year.
