Pierce Atwood Adds Bankruptcy/Creditors’ Rights Attorney to Boston Office
Alex F. Mattera joins firm as partner
Pierce Atwood is pleased to announce that experienced bankruptcy and creditors’ rights attorney Alex F. Mattera has joined the firm’s Boston office.
Alex focuses his practice on all aspects of commercial bankruptcy, bankruptcy litigation, insolvency, and creditor and debtor rights. He represents secured creditors, with an emphasis on workouts and collection of troubled and defaulted loans, as well as creditors’ committees, trustees, debtors, and other parties in bankruptcy and related proceedings.
Alex is a frequent panelist and presenter on behalf of the American Bankruptcy Institute, the Boston Bar Association, and Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education. He received his law degree from Boston College Law School, his M.A. from Boston University, and his B.A. from University of Rhode Island.
