Pierce Atwood Hosts Maine-Alaska Arctic Roundtable

Pierce Atwood was pleased to host state officials, business and community leaders, and researchers from Maine and Alaska to “share perspectives, priorities, and best practices” related to topics of mutual interest including maritime trade, energy, transportation, and more.

Discussions included developing “innovative solutions” in the areas of clean energy and energy efficiency, improving infrastructure, engaging communities in renewable energy development, and “building local human capacity.”

Each participant presented a brief commentary on where they thought cooperation between the two states could occur.
