Pierce Atwood Names Brian Rayback Chair of Environmental Practice Group
Pierce Atwood LLP is pleased to announce that Environmental and Land Use partner Brian Rayback has been named Environmental Practice Group Chair. Brian succeeds firm partner Matthew D. Manahan.
A firm partner since 2007 and an attorney at the firm for nearly 20 years, Brian’s environmental practice involves all aspects of water, air, natural resources, solid waste, and zoning regulation. Project developers, property owners, trade associations, utilities, construction companies, and industrial and manufacturing facilities rely on Brian to provide cost-effective and strategic advice on project permitting, enforcement matters, appeals of agency decisions, regulatory compliance, and legislative issues.

Brian earned his J.D. magna cum laude from Georgetown University Law Center, was an editor of the Georgetown Law Journal, and is a member of the Order of the Coif. Brian also graduated summa cum laude from Colby College where he was a member of Phi Beta Kappa.
