Pierce Atwood Partner Jared des Rosiers Elected President of Notre Dame Law Association

Pierce Atwood partner Jared des Rosiers was recently elected president of the Notre Dame Law Association, an alumni advisory board to the University of Notre Dame Law School, for the 2013-2014 school year.  He earned his J.D. summa cum laude from the University in 1992 and his B.A., also from Notre Dame, in 1989.

Jared is a member of the firm’s Energy Practice Group where his practice focuses on complex energy litigation and regulatory matters before the Maine Public Utilities Commission ("MPUC"), the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission ("FERC") and state and federal courts around the country.  Jared has broad experience on energy regulatory matters including representation of clients with respect to issues of rate recovery and design, ISO/RTO participation and market design, transmission development, nuclear decommissioning, power purchase agreement disputes and smart grid implementation.
