Pierce Atwood SALT Attorneys Presenters at 2018 Maine Tax Forum

Pierce Atwood State & Local Tax partners Rob Ravenelle, Jon Block, and Kris Eimicke will be speaking on a variety of topics at this two-day forum for tax and accounting professionals, and those in the legal profession whose clients are impacted by annual changes in federal and state tax laws.

Rob Ravenelle and Kris Eimicke will present a two-part session on Section 199A of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act of 2018, where they will explore who is and isn’t eligible for the up to 20% deduction for “qualifying business income from partnerships, S corporations, and sole proprietorships.”

Jon Block will discuss the recent U.S. Supreme Court decision in Wayfair, and its impact on Maine taxpayers.
