Pierce Atwood Welcomes New COO Christopher Mordas

Pierce Atwood is pleased to announce that experienced senior executive Christopher D. Mordas has joined the firm as Chief Operating Officer.

As COO, Chris oversees Pierce Atwood’s finance, information technology, human resources, library, and office services teams. Chris works closely with the managing partner on the day-to-day management of the firm and on its long-term strategic planning.

Chris has more than 25 years of experience guiding professional services firms and other organizations through growth, transformation, and operational excellence. Before joining Pierce Atwood, he was CEO of Boston-based law firm Bernkopf Goodman LLP, where he was responsible for the firm’s executive administration.

Chris is on the board of directors and is treasurer of the Boston Chapter of the Association of Legal Administrators. He received his J.D. from Roger Williams University School of Law and his B.S. cum laude in Accounting and Finance from Roger Williams University.
