Pierce Atwood Welcomes Project Finance Partner Merrill Kramer to DC Office
Pierce Atwood’s growth continues with the addition of Merrill L. Kramer, an experienced transactional attorney specializing in the development and financing of energy and infrastructure projects across the United States and overseas.
Merrill has advised Fortune 200 and other companies in more than 80 energy and infrastructure projects representing more than $30 billion in invested capital. Merrill also has substantial experience representing clients before state regulatory agencies and the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC). He represents large energy users, including universities, on sustainable energy projects, and works closely with industry and political leaders to formulate and implement laws and regulations encouraging renewable energy development.

Before joining Pierce Atwood, Merrill was a project finance attorney and Chair of the Sustainable Energy Practice at Sullivan & Worcester. He was previously Chair of the Structured Products and Derivatives group and a project finance partner at Chadbourne & Parke, a major Wall Street law firm now part of Norton Rose Fulbright.
