Tom Dunn Panel Moderator at AGC MA 2024 What’s Next Innovation Conference & Expo
Contractors typically use their own contract templates, but customers often end up using heavily edited standard agreements or their own manuscript agreements. While there is no continuity in how these agreements are organized or what terms they may contain, there are consistent provisions that contractors need to review for each contract.
Many AGC members have their own practice manuals/policies as to such critical terms, including their “walk away” terms, but how are those critical terms efficiently located? What is the best way to convey that information, and once the contract is executed how will project managers, superintendents, and other team members know about those critical terms and follow them?
To address these issues, Pierce Atwood construction law and litigation partner Tom Dunn will moderate a panel discussion titled, “Using Technology to Streamline Contract Review and Project Performance” with panelists from Bond Brothers and Commodore Builders, early adopters of construction contract review software called Document Crunch®.
