Pierce Atwood Welcomes Business Law Attorney Sonia J. Buck to Portland, Maine Office

Pierce Atwood is pleased to announce that business law attorney Sonia J. Buck has rejoined its Portland, Maine office as counsel in the Business Practice Group.

Sonia focuses her transactional practice on debt finance and restructuring. Sonia was most recently a senior attorney in the Portland, Maine office of Brock & Scott, PLLC, where she focused on commercial default workouts, loan modifications, mortgage foreclosures, corporate power of sale transfers, lien enforcement, and bankruptcy. Prior to that, Sonia was a partner at Linnell, Choate & Webber in Auburn, Maine, where she handled commercial loans and real estate transactions,

Before law school, Sonia was a legal administrative assistant and then a paralegal at Pierce Atwood. Sonia graduated magna cum laude from University of Maine School of Law and received her B.A. in English from University of Southern Maine. Sonia is a frequent speaker and author for the National Business Institute, and recently received their Outstanding Faculty Award.
